The following passages are from resource materials I developed in 1990 titled “Learning Chinese in Australia – VCE Chinese Resource Material”, distributed by the Association of Independent Schools of Victoria (AISV). The original documents are no longer available, as the recordings were on cassette tapes, and the texts were hand-written. I have digitised a number of passages, so that people can access them electronically.
The development of the materials was funded under the Australian Second Langauage Learning Program, 1990, and distributed by AISV. I again acknowledge the assistance of Mr. Chen Hao, Mrs. Linda Chin and Mrs. Winnie Tang for recording the passages.
